It’s always a good day when the Mountain Goats are involved! Today we got a new track from the twisted-folk act, taken from their upcoming LP ‘Transcendental Youth’ which drops on Merge 10/2. Mark you calendars. The track, ‘Cry for Judas’, is John Darnielle in typical contradictory upbeat/gloomy form. ‘Transcendental Youth’ is anxiously awaited by anyone who enjoyed last year’s awesome ‘All Eternals Deck’.
